How long does an insurance company have until they pay my claim? It's been three months since the fire that destroyed everything but the foundation of the home that was being newly built and almost ready to move into. The claim was submitted immediately and a professional estimator met with the company's adjuster and estimator but I have still not gotten the money I need to rebuild. Isn't there some kind of law in California that dictates the time period they are allowed? Thank you.
